How to Connect iPad with TV via Wireless Network
To connect your iPad to your TV without using cables, you must have an Apple TV. Using Apple TV is the only way to connect iPad to TV without using cables. If you have an Apple TV, this is one of the best features to take advantage of. Doing so will display the iPad on the TV as well. You can even play games with your TV for a console-like experience.
Set TV
Set up Apple TV. The Apple TV will act as the go-between for your television and your iPad.
Connect Apple TV to your television. Using the HDMI cable you got when you bought your Apple TV, connect your Apple TV to your television. Locate the HDMI port on the television.
Set up Apple TV. After connecting your Apple TV and television, follow the instructions in the user guide to set up your Apple TV to display. You need a Wi-Fi network.
Connect iPad with Television
Connect the iPad to a Wi-Fi network. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen, then press the Wi-Fi symbol to activate it.
Turn on AirPlay. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen, then press the “AirPlay” button.
